Why This Exists (and What I’m Trying to Figure Out)

There are already plenty of places on the internet where artificial intelligence is either:

This is neither of those places.

I started this site because I kept running into the same problem:
every serious conversation about AI felt strangely incomplete.

The hype talks about capabilities. The panic talks about consequences.
Very few people talk calmly about use, craft, and trade-offs; especially from the perspective of people who actually have to work with these systems every day.

I’m a designer by background. Passionately systems-minded. Somewhere between curious, skeptical, and cautiously optimistic by temperament.

I don’t believe AI will “replace creatives.” I also don’t believe it will politely stay in its lane.

What I do believe is that we’re living through a messy transition period where tools, labor, culture, and power structures are all shifting at once — and pretending this is either simple or settled feels dishonest.

So this site is part curated link collection, part lab, part notebook.

I’ll be collecting articles, papers, tools, and ideas that I find relevant. I’ll comment on why they matter, what they get right, what they miss, and how they connect to actual practice, not just theory or vibes.

Sometimes I’ll write longer essays.
Sometimes short notes.
Sometimes tutorials or hands-on experiments.
Sometimes I’ll change my mind in public (a terrifying but underrated feature).

The working principle is simple:

AI is neither magic nor evil.
It’s a system. And systems deserve to be read carefully.

If you’re looking for certainty, predictions, or commandments, you’ll probably be disappointed.
If you’re interested in thinking out loud, testing ideas, and staying curious without turning your brain off: you’re very welcome here.

Let’s see what we can make of this situation we find ourselves in.
